Roadster 2026

This model is built entirely in code. Seventeen measured cross-sections define the body, and a structured loft sweeps them along the car with crisp feature creases. Doors, the three-mode rear wing, wheels, interior, thruster pack and lights are generated procedurally and exported to a self-contained glTF/GLB with six animation clips.

The shape was fitted against reference photographs and video stills from six directions: side, front, front ¾, rear ¾, high rear and top. For each one I solved a camera and checked the silhouette and panel lines in an overlay. It is an approximate fan reconstruction for visualisation, not a manufacturer model.

Model frame and animation

Units are metres, with +Y up and the front facing −Z, so the car's right is +X. The origin is on the ground at mid-wheelbase. The clips are DoorsOpen, WingHighDownforce, WingLowDrag, WheelSpin, ThrustersBoost and ThrustersDownforce. Thruster effect sockets are named socket-rear-*, socket-bell-* and socket-down-*; each socket's +Z axis points along the exhaust.
